Hi there
I’m Bence Kozma, a DevOps Engineer from Hungary.
I’m passionate about programming, tech gadgets and homelabs.
Even as a child I was always curious about trying out new things in tech like:
- Re-flashing an old TP-Link TL-WR1043ND router with OpenWRT
- Constantly reinstalling windows on our home computer starting at windows 95 and making it work with plug-and-play USB
- Trying out Debian 4 when it came out making my family’s life more difficult for a week
- Tinkering with the first raspberry pi by turning it into a media player, then building my first server which I have managed to reinstall remotely
I have always been interested in creating websites; I have devoted the majority of my life to this passion. I have spent approximately 8 years developing my interests and abilities in this field, for example I am proficient in many web programming languages.
In 2010 I graduated from Pataki István Secondary School of Telecommunication, after that I continued my studies in Számalk Further Education School where I gained a Diploma in IT Security and Computer Networking.
In 2011 I completed my CISCO IT Essentials International certification. In 2012 I took part in an National Profession Study Competition, where I achieved 10th place out of 600 competitors.
In the begining of 2018 I have been introduced to Udemy.com ( an online learning platform ) which kickstarted my further interest in the latest technologies and helping me to turn my hobby into a job.
